Revlon Plum Seduction

This is my first Revlon polish, I've never bothered to buy them. I got it on sale for like 2 bucks and i'm glad I did. I love this color and the formula was thin but manageable. The only think that was bad was the crappy crappy brush. I wish I should of taken a pic of it, I just forgot to. But i got it to work pretty well.

KISS Nail Dress

In February I qualified for a Love VoxBox from Influenster.com to test and review. I received the box about 2 weeks ago and these have been sitting there waiting for me to get my hands on them.

I didn't want to use them up and then have them just fall over without letting me show them off. So While going out this weekend I decided its a great time to stick these babies on.

You start by sizing them to your finger and then sticking them on.

Once you have them stuck on good you just fold down the excess on the end and file.

And TADA... You have sweet lookin' nails in like 10 minutes.

They're still going strong through 2 showers and a load of dishes. I love these and can see myself buying them in the future for a quick run out the door mani. They retail for about 6.99 and you get enough to do your toes also.

Pure Ice New Lilac

For 2 bucks I love these polishes. This is New Lilac from Pure Ice, The perfect shade for the first gorgeous day outside in awhile.

It applied a bit streaky but it all evened out after 2 coats.

Sorry for my crappy cuticles, they're getting better  :)

3/7 NOTD

I had an interview yesterday and this is the polish I went with. This is Funky Fingers, Favorite Girl.

My poor lil nubbin index index finger broke the other day and I had to file it down to almost nothing.  :(

I love this foil lavender/pink shade. Very spring like! And for a  brand name I only heard of a couple months ago and having gotten this at 5 below it applied very well.

Finger Paints Special Effects

I got these awhile ago and have worn them a couple times but this is the 1st for my new blog. I went in specifically in Sallys for this and there were only the black left on the shelf. I made the woman go look in the back for me. She came out with 2 the other employee was saving for herself. HAHA

I first did 2 coats of Sinful Colors Black.

Then did 2 coats of my little beauties... Finger Paints Special Effects in Asylum. It's a orange to blue/purple flakie then turns yellow and green on the sides. I LOVE it! I didn't get much done at work last night because every time I went to type they'd change their colors.

I can't wait to see this layered over other colors.

OPI DS Mystery

Again, Sorry for the crappy pics, I really have to stop using my phone. This is DS Mystery from OPI. It's a deep Vampy purple base with tiny gold flakes  that applies perfectly. When I first came across this at Ulta I must have picked it up and put it down like 6 times. I couldn't get past the fact of paying $13 bucks for a nail polish. I actually thought it was going to be a lot prettier. Overall, I like it, though if I had the choice again I'd probably put it back down and wait for it to get a bit cheaper.

This is 2 coats with a coat of SV.

Half matte mani

After seeing a few of my fellow bloggers sport this mani the other day it inspired me to do one also. I love matte polishes but hate that it chips within a few hours... Notice the chip on my index finger.  :(   This is 2 coats of Avon's Violetta then taped off 1/2 and applied a coat of SV.

Sorry for the crappy pics, I have to use my phone for now.

Ulta~ Love my Blackberry

This is my first Ulta brand nail polish I bought. I went in Ulta and started digging through their clearance bin and found this... Love my Blackberry.

It's a dark purple, It's very shiny and very pretty! I think blackberry is the perfect name for this.

This is 2 coats with a coat of SV.

V-day mani

It was about 2:30 in the afternoon and I was looking throughout the nail blogs I have saved and after seeing all the Valentines Day mani's... I wanted one. Now I have to leave at 3:30 to make it to work so I only had about an hour to work with. I started with Avon's Red Hot.

I wanted to do stamps on all fingers but with about 15 min till I had to leave I figured I'd better not chance it and just did my ring fingers.
I used Konad plate M84 and Konad special white polish. Then brushed on a tiny bit of the Pure sterling silver glitter.

Zoya Cheryl

This is another one of my free Zoyas. This smokey brown, mahogany color is amazing.

After 2 days I threw some black tips on them but forgot to grab a pic.  I've never owned any Zoyas prior to their free promotion. I actually really like their formula.

Meet me at the Met

I had this on last week but I've been too busy to post this week. Sooo this is Finger Paints Meet me at the Met.

I then did a stamp with one of the generic brand plates.

Base coat of Rebuild, 2 coats of Met me at the Met and a thick coat of SV.

NOTD: My own lil stargaze

After my order of Konad plate M84 came in yesterday I was so excited to try it. I knew I first wanted to try the stars over my favorite blue polish.

I did 2 coats of China Glaze Frostbite

Then did my stamping with the Konad special white polish, a little of Pure Golds pure sterling silver glitter and then topped it off with a thick coat of SV.

And I'm in loveeeee

I think I'll keep this on for a few days  <3

Zoya Tiffany

Another of my free Zoyas is Tiffany from the 2010 Flame Collection. It's a peach-copper color base with flecks of gold glitter pieces and peachy-pink shimmer.
I like this polish but it's depressing me today. It reminds me of Summer and it's a snowy, cold, windy mess outside. This polish makes me want to go sit by the pool laying in the sun and all I have to do today is bundle up and trudge through the snow into work and probably deal with a bunch of crap other people can't do.  :)
Basecoat of Rebuild,  2 coats of Tiffany and a thick coat of SV. It probably would of look better with 3 coats but I was in a rush to take a nap before working all night. :)

Zoya Kendall

My Zoya order came in yesterday and I was so excited. I actually forgot what colors I had ordered till I ripped it open. The 1st one I'm going to show off is Kendall. It's a soft, light lavender shade that I LOVE!!!
My base is Rebuild, 2 coats of Kendall and a coat of SV.

I actually really like this polish and I like it more because it was free. It applied smooth, no problems.

Pure Ice Crimson

I had on my Seche Rebuild the other day and got really bored not having any color. So after I did my daughters toes in this color I just slapped it on. Sorry, no clean up.
2 Coats of Crimson over Rebuild then a coat of SV.

Orly's Gumdrop and Stamping

I love this Tiffany blue color. It applied perfectly for me.

I have a shirt that matches perfectly so I was that weirdo the other day.

Then I did a little Konad.  Which some guy at my work claims they looked like curtains. Ughhhh Men!
I think they looked cute!

Orly's Buried Treasure

On my most resent trip to Sallys i picked up a few Orly polishes because they're $5 off when you buy 3. 1 of them is Buried Treasure.
Sorry about the middle finger... gloppy seche vite.
Buried Treasure is a Silvery Taupe with microshimmer. I'd love it more if it wasn't for a few bad visible brushstrokes
Overall I like it. I don't have any like it. I think I'll start getting more of neutrals.

1st post and naked nails

Sooo, I been wanting to start a blog ever since I started getting into nail polish more and after following a few awesome blogs. So here it is! I been buying some polish here and there and been changing it up every couple days but I figured since this is the start of my blog I'd start with my naked nails.
I've been growing them out but sometimes they start to peel so I decided to get Seche Rebuild which I heard helps tremendously.

It's supposed to strengthen weak nails and help prevent peeling and with each application proteins seals the layers together. It's only my 2nd day using it but I love the shine it has and smoothness it has.

As you can see, my pointer finger is peeling and my middle finger has a little crack.

With polish it's impossible to see but I know they're there sooo I'm hoping this stuff works.

Now I don't know how often I'll be able to update this blog but I'm hoping to stay with it for awhile. Hope you all like!
